In an ideal evening…a glass of Merlot and a game of hockey
In an oxymoron…outgoing and loud but loves alone time
In a musical artist…The Beastie Boys
In a dinner party guest…John Mulaney
That was fun, now onto some heavy lifting. In June 2019, I will have graduated from the University of Oregon and the School of Journalism and Communication with a BA in Public Relations and Media Studies. A buy-one-get-one free from the SOJC, if you will.
I was the social media and marketing promotions intern for the Corvallis Knights baseball team! I had the ability to implement new social ideas, run the teams Instagram account, execute all stadium operations and increase fan engagement throughout the season.
I'm really proud that I was the ASUO Special Events Coordinator. I had the pleasure of running the bi-annual Street Faire; an event for more than 15,000 students, faculty, and participants that brought in a little over $17,000 to the ASUO, each time it was held.
For the Eugene Generals Hockey team, I had the pleasure of running all of their digital marketing efforts. From social media campaigns to increase ticket sales, to in-game content, you name it, I got to do it!
After that I worked with the sports team at KEZI News. I shot Duck and Beaver athletics and edited highlights for the 6 & 11 pm broadcasts, worked with Twitter and even wrote articles. I do have a very early demo reel if you wanna check it out!
This summer I finished up a digital internship with the Sacramento Kings and Golden 1 Center. From creating graphics, to videos, to memes and posting on IG, Twitter, and Facebook, it was a summer to remember.
My resume and portfolio will totally show you the story. But if you take anything away from this, I'm a people's person. I’ll talk forever if you’ll let me. Seriously. I just love having the ability to connect stories and narratives to the sports and entertainment world!
