Where to start?

Let’s give you a quick synopsis of me: the person behind the work. I’m originally from Portland, Oregon. Graduated from University of Oregon in 2019 with a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations and Media Studies. Worked all around Eugene with the best news guys over at KEZI Channel 9 as a sports broadcast intern, the Eugene Generals hockey team as a marketing intern, the Corvallis Knights summer league baseball team as a social media/in-game promotions intern, and as the Special Events Director for ASUO where I ran and facilitated four Street Faires on the UO campus. (takes deep breathe)

From there I made my way to Sacramento (technically Placerville, where are my small town peeps at) I worked with Golden 1 Center on all things organic social for concerts and events at the arena. At the same time, I assisted the Kings digital team on their off-season basketball content creation and social calendars. When that postgraduate internship ended I continued my way up I-5 a little and settled into San Francisco. I was on the short-form digital team at Pac-12 Networks doing all things live production for our 12 universities on our social channels. We launched our TikTok in late 2019, continued a very successful “on the road series” on Instagram and Twitter during the football season and saw many of our athletes break glass ceilings.

Then, while covering the 2020 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament… (I’ll let you finish). The pandemic threw the biggest curve ball to the sports industry. Unfortunately, along with so many others, Pac-12 let a ton of people go - I was one of them. This was actually a transformative time for me personally. I moved to Southern California (I thought I’d be there for 2 weeks lol) and got to remember so much of me, outside of work. Fast forward about one year - I’m freelancing back in Portland and I got a job back in the industry with the Arizona Coyotes.

Living in Arizona absolutely incredible, covering my first season in the NHL lead me to get to know our guys, cover 82 games live, work with paid and sponsored social, tap more into the meme game, spend 24/7 on TikTok, and get better at my craft in the industry.

I really thought I was going to keep this short - well, turns out I talk a lot. But, you’ll learn that pretty quickly about me. If you read this far, congratulations, there isn’t a prize but I’ll end with my one of my fav quotes from New Girl. “ “Do I regret it? Yes. Would I do it again? Probably.”
